Grace Kids/Children's Ministry
ABOUT GRACE KIDS
Grace Kids is a children’s ministry uniquely designed with your child in mind! Kids, birth through fifth grade, experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a way designed to help see the Gospel in all of Scripture and connect the Gospel to their lives. We use the Gospel Project curriculum. The Gospel Project take kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture. Kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation. When kids truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed. It is the gospel, not good behavior, that changes everything. Our children’s ministry is staffed by volunteers who love Jesus, love children, and love teaching children about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. These volunteers are experienced and equipped to help your kids engage with God’s Word in way that makes a lasting impact.
NURSERY
Nursery care is provided during both Sunday morning services for children ages birth-2 years old. It is our desire to provide you with nursery care that is more than free babysitting. We strive to make the nursery a Gospel learning environment.
EQUIPPING
During our 9:00am service we provide age-appropriate Equipping classes for children pre-school (3 yrs)-5th grade in a small group environment.
KIDS CHURCH
Following the music portion of our 10:15 worship service children pre-school-5th grade are dismissed to continue worshiping in an engaging environment where the lessons are Bible focused and the leaders make a lasting impact.
If you have any question about Grace Kids, please contact Debby Coogan or Susan Van Tuyl. We can’t wait to meet your kids!
FIRST TIME AT GRACE?
Look for the table designated Grace Kids Check-in. A volunteer will greet your family and check your child into our database system. Once checked in, our Grace Kids ambassador will be happy to show you the age appropriate room for your child and answer any questions you may have about children’s ministry at Grace Fellowship. During check-in we’ll make sure we know what your child likes to be called, collect your contact information, and ask you about any allergies or other special instructions. You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion of your matching identification tags which bears a code that is matched to your portion during checkout at the end of the service. After the service, you will return to your child’s classroom and show your tag for your child to be released back to you.
